7kg in 6 weeks…

Everyone is different. That said we are all “Same Same”.

2024 has been a year of change for Adam. This change came following a moment of ‘revelation’.

Having recently spent time on holiday in the Gold Coast, he noticed a photo of himself that he ‘wasn’t particularly happy with’.

“Playing with the dolphins was as it turned out, cool, but the photo of me next to the dolphin, hmmmmmm.“

And so, he did a few very specific actions.

  1. Set a weight goal

  2. Set a calorie deficit - ideal is 500/day

  3. Protein - you need protein powder - how much well a starting point would be, say, 2x your bodyweight in kg

  4. Regular exercise 20-40min cardio most days (most of mine was 20-30)

  5. Weight training 2x week

  6. Track your food and Cal burn - use an app like ‘my fitness pal’ - do it - the more you keep track the more you realize something you ate that you thought was good wasn’t.

6 weeks later he was 7kg down. It wasn’t ‘rocket-science’ but some of the knowledge gained along the way was enlightening and not what he’d expected.

“Greek yoghurt and strawberries, sugar free jelly, Low fat mince extra lean Pork, Beef. Honey leg ham and chicken is the Rolls Royce” “

Now 6 months later he is embarking on a trip to Europe for a wedding, some recovery and time in the sun.

“To be clear the journey is not easy to do; you have to eat well; you have to exercise; but it is easy to understand. It is not rocket science. It’s just choices.“

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it what you’re trying to do. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to grow. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
